We aren't going with 6 centre backs.Not least because I expect Pep to do 2 years and move on. Unlikely the next manager wants 6 centre backs and 1 fb/midfielder in Lewis. If Walker goes fairly sure we'd buy a full back of one kind or another.

We have two brilliant CB's in Ake and Stones but sadly both are injury prone, Dias's form has been very poor this season.

Injuries have and could well cost us dear this season and with a summer of Euros and Copa nothing will change on that front.

Braithwaite looks a generational talent and if the club feel he is they will go for him and maybe at the expense of one of the present squad.

Top clubs are ruthless, they have to be to maintain their status.

Walker would actually need to want to move there. He wobbled at Germany last summer.

I doubt we’ll buy any defender unless Walker goes. In which case we’d buy a full back, either left or right.
