Are you basing that on the cross he failed to defend where the ball went wide from a header?

Another centre half only 6ft tall, a bit like Otamendi. I really would like us to buy someone physically imposing, because when Kompany's out we rarely look like convincing. Stating the obvious a bit, but Denayer needs the right partner IMO

Ive been watching him from his early days when he was brought to the club and while his aerial ability could be far better,its not a decisive weakness IMO,especially given the other aspects of his game really are outstanding.

The argument for him being a better RB may be a good one though,i'm undecided yet as alongside another equally composed,ball playing centre half(Stones?)they could be a marvellous partnership.

Im 6ft 2 and if Denayer or Ota are 6ft then my Doctor needs to get a new tape measure

But I think thats the problem,too many CBs can play with the ball but cant defend.Kompany can do both,going to be our hardest job replacing him.
