According to FIFA, Otters is 1m 83 (a fraction over 6ft) and Jason is 1m 84 (6ft and 1/2 inch)

I didn't realise the game was on TV last night until it finished! So I only saw some post match highlights but they showed at least two instances of the ball going over JD in defensive situations; mind you at the other end he made the goal and hit the bar with headers!

Given that he is not a beanpole, maybe he will fit in at right back. I simply have not seen enough of the lad to conclude on how good he is or where he should play.

I really would like us to buy someone physically imposing

Mangala: 1.88m 84kg
Kompany: 1.93m 83kg
Otamendi: 1.83m 82kg
Demichelis: 1.84m 80kg
Denayer: 1.84m 70-79kg (depending on which source you read).

Although he doesn't look small, it would appear he could do with bulking up somewhat. That being said, he's still young and, if it turns out to be a problem, it's relatively easy to work on.

Desailly - 1.83m
Thuram - 1.85m
Baresi - 1.76m
Puyol - 1.78m
Cannavaro - 1.76m
Maldini - 1.86m

I think he could actually do a job as a winger of some sorts. He's only 20 and we all saw how Bale evolved into that role.
