Have Gunn and Lopes been with us for 3 years ?
Does Google not work where you are? ;)

Gunn came from Norwich in the Summer of 2011 for £264,000 according to http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/angus-gunn/profil/spieler/201574

Lopes was 6 months later in the Winter of 2012 from Benfica for £880,000 http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marcos-lopes/profil/spieler/174694
Such numbers can make this 30m academy players' pricetag seem real. Btw, transfermarkt isn't always correct, especially when it comes to young players. For example, it says that Denayer joined City u18 in summer 2012, while he actually joined us one year later, so he won't be a club-grown
Agreed about transfermarkt but then even the OS has a few players birth years wrong...

Even if those fees are anywhere close they're usually inclusive of add-ons (and how a 3rd party can get those details I don't know) so the £30 mill is still bollocks.

Denayer will have been a City player for two years this summer and can be registered as u21 in any competition we enter next season, as can every other EDS player likely to get game time with the exception of Iheanacho, Nwakali and Dilrosun, who can all only be registered as u21 for the premier league and will require a squad spot for the Champions League.

The only excuse that I would find acceptable for Denayer not being an active member of the first team squad next season would be that he had a chance to get more time on the field at a Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga or Ligue 1 club. He's excelled at Celtic and needs to be tested at the top level.

To not require a squad spot for CL the player must train with the club for 3 years at least between 15 and 21 years. Denayer joined us in june/july 2013 and has only been with us for one year. So, no, not everybody from EDS would be able to play in ucl without being in the squad-list for it

Wrong. To qualify for a club trained squad spot the player needs to be registered for the club for 3 years between the ages of 15 and 21. To qualify for one of the unlimited B list squad spots the player needs to have been at the club for a minimum of 2 years and be 21 or younger on the 1st of January of the year in which the competition conmences. Hence Nastasic being in the Champions League squad in addition to the 21 we were allowed by UEFA this season despite only joining the club in summer 2012.

Thanks mate, the rules seem to have changed (I play fm 13 a lot and it says about 3 years only. Be only registered for the club and having spent only 2 years for list b are both very good things. We'll still have to list Iheanacho if he stays

Van Dijk sent off again (was a ridiculous decision) so it looks like Denayer will be leading the defence.

Shocking decision from the officials with 2 early red cards when 2 yellows would have done. One of the reds (for Dundee) was mistaken identity too! However Van Dijk plants a bit of a stamp, so once again let's his team down.

The really shocking part was Brown not being sent off.
