Solid debut in a horrible game.

You know what you're getting when you go to Stoke ......

we probably had more chances today than we've ever had there , but it still wasn't enough to win the game ....... they , in turn , simply outmuscled us in patches , and created very little throughout the 90 mimutes , yet got the draw.

Time will tell whther this was a point gained , or two points dropped ....... but that's our second away draw on the bounce , and sonner or later we have to turn them into wins ..... because , as the rags showed at Southampton , others will !

from what i saw he is really good in headers, it will help a lot especially when you play rugby teams like stoke :)

They have had one tough game and lost it! Southampton and Wigan are not tough games

He did enough for a debut but the first 30 minutes the game went past him

Certainly imptoved after his goal going to have to get himself up to the speed of the Prem

But of the three debutants i thought he was the stand out player of the three

Top quality headers, one goal and the other hit the post.

He will improve. I think he will play Tuesday v Real.

Delighted he is a Blue.

To be fair their goal was only scored because the officials failed to see the tallest player on the pitch play basketball. Guess in the same way they failed to spot the elbow on Mario that stopped Dzeko's last minute goal chance.

Set play MONSTER!! this kids a beast in the air. Can see him making that position his with Barry falling down the pecking order
