A really impressive performance and MOTM just ahead of the brilliant Tevez.
 
Very good performance although he will need a few games to adapt to the pace as he did want too much time on the ball a couple of times. Think he will certainly be a good signing. 2nd best player on the pitch after Clichy imo, who was excellent as usual and did a couple of wonderful long-passes.

Gaël was outstanding today. Javi played well, for a debut I'm well impressed.
 
A mixed game but like Maicon just has got to be given time to settle. Seems a very dangerous player from set-pieces.
 
A very impressive début.

Kept organising the midfield, a good tackler and was great in the air - especially at set pieces. But best of all was his long range passing.
 
Very promising. Strong, good in the air and intelligent with a good range of passing. Particularly impressed with his yellow card as he knew it was a good one to take for the team.

As much as i loved de Jong, Garcia looks like an upgrade
