agreed. Great performance. Was pleased he didn't go for revenge on Whelan. Nasty tackle with Webb looking right at it. Probably keeping an eye on Garcia and missed Whelans jump.

I reckon we won't see him out of the first choice team for a long time at this rate.

Stoke are a team he's made for and,fair play,he did his job well.

Defended well and put himself about,his effort is first class.

Still a worrying aspect of his game is his lack of mobility and pace,against players of similar attribute he will be fine,against trickery and speed he struggles,players seem to easily run past him.

Overall though,far better,his positional sense is improving,he's excellent in the air and his passing,although rarely incisive,is usually accurate.

7/10 today.

gave the ball away in the first half too much. they nearly scored twice off one of his mistakes. too slow and no confidence. similar performance to last week.
he doesn't bring any thing to the table.

His perfomances are steadily improving. Used the ball inteliigently today and deputised well at centre back.

Really starting to look comfortable, also couldn't help notice Milner started last 6 , won 6 conceded 0, solid from top to bottom with Garcia holding , and of course zaba in the team helps ;-)
