Javi Garcia

Really starting to look comfortable, also couldn't help notice Milner started last 6 , won 6 conceded 0, solid from top to bottom with Garcia holding , and of course zaba in the team helps ;-)

milners workrate is far superior to nasri (who i still have reservations about)

He'll never be worth 17m but that is certainly not his fault and i guess we paid the price of desperation.

Had we paid 5m,i would be saying decent buy, however,i still believe we could have done better, which is where the majority of my criticism is centered.

Played well again today. One of the things that stood out to me was how he won a lot of the headers or at least challenged for them from stoke goal kicks allowing our centre backs to stay in position. Like someone has said, I think the clean sheets we've been getting recently are linked with him. He seems a lot more confident but I still think there's more to come from him.

Absolutely right. Works well with Barry and is getting better and better now he is fully fit ( he wasnt at start) and learned the premiership game.

Can he justify the price if Mancini to move him to CB ?

Kompany was bought to be Defensive Midfielder, but he turn out to be the best Centre back in England.

To my eyes he still looks uncomfortable on the ball, when he receives the ball in the middle of the park it looks like he just wants to get rid asap and if anyone puts pressure on him he gets nervous. Time will tell, but he still has a way to go before I'd trust him 100%.

I think it's horses for courses. He looks very assured and comfortable against teams like Stoke where it's physical and they don't move the ball very quickly but against a team like Chelsea where they ping the ball around quickly I feel the game would pass him by.

Thought he was great today. He seems to be like Barry, a consistent performer that is never going to be spectacular. Ever team needs battlers and he is one.

I honestly think he is worth it. Only 25 on low wages (which of course distorts fee anyway) and makes us look much more solid in the middle, as well offering back up in defence. Clean sheets could win us the league and then he'd certainly be worth it. To say he is worth less than Sinclair or a third of a Phil Jones is doing him a massive disservice.
