Awful footballer one of the worst I've seen and we've had some bad ones down the years. Terrible signing, not the lads fault but totally out of his depth no natural talent whatsoever and a poor football brain. Sorry if any of you disagree but in time he will be quietly moved on. Yes he is clearly Jamie Pollockesque in his passing, he tackles like Steve Kinsey and has the heading ability of Gordon Smith.

Bit harsh to say he's terrible. Overpriced? Yeah. And probably not the kind of midfielder we needed.

If he can keep improving and showing versatility as a defender, he will be a good player for us. City caught napping at a set piece by QPR, most criminally Lescott because it was on his side. Javi slid over and covered for him, probably saved us a goal. He seems aware at all times even if he lacks pace. Mancini keeps playing him, so obviously he sees something.

Javi might be able to save us wages and fees if he can double as Kolo's replacement.
