Awful footballer one of the worst I've seen and we've had some bad ones down the years. Terrible signing, not the lads fault but totally out of his depth no natural talent whatsoever and a poor football brain. Sorry if any of you disagree but in time he will be quietly moved on. The Aquallani of City.
One of the worst posts I've ever read and I've read some bad ones down the years, please note the below,
Benjani, corradi, Bianchi, Castillo, Danny mills, Ben thatcher, Fowler, clough, Ben haim, RSC,
Adeybayor, dabo, hamann, a taste of awful.
then the lightweights, Robinho, elano, petrov, boateng, balotelli, Nasri, etc etc.
You are either taking the piss or have never watched city at all.
Garcia is improving with every game and has all the right attitude to be a very good player although it has to be said he has started poorly.
He's right that is a silly post, the kind i'd expect from a 10 year old who's been listening to his warm Skol from a can drinking clueless non match going dad.

Milner is ten times the player Garcia is

I completely agree. To say Garcia is a) anywhere near the required standard and b) anywhere near the ability, work rate and quality of Milner is simply laughable!

Garcia makes Gerry creaney look awesome.

I assume you don't get to watch City live much.

So he's played for the Spanish champions, the Portuguese champions and now he's playing for the English champions.
He's played for the world champions as well

I had about as much to do with those championships as he did.

He was awful early on. Now he's not as bad and people are making him out to be on the verge of being a great player or something. He brings nothing to the table creatively. He's scarred to death on the ball. Yes he wins the ball. Great. Did we need to spend 20 mil for a ball winner? De Jong did that. The whole idea of getting rid of De Jong was to bring in someone who was better on the ball. That ain't him.

£20m?

Exaggeration wont validate your argument

This is the biggest fallacy of the de Jong transfer. He didn't want to stay. NDJ wanted more playing time and more money, we could offer neither. Javi is a ball winner, but not a tackler. The majority of his play is sitting deep and intercepting passes.

Honestly think he's been doing quite well recently and that he'll build on that and become a really good player for us eventually.

NDJ wanted more playing time, agreed, he also wanted to be paid the sort of wages on a par with his teamates, so that tells me he "wanted to stay" asking for an improved contract surely confirms this? Garcia looks like a chicken with no head, but much slower, I agree he's getting better, and if his improvement continues at the present rate i'd let him lace NDJ's boots in 3/4 years, Rodwell another disappointment and Sinclair he was told he could leave 5 mins after he joined . People on here mention the FFP and think that had something to do with NDJ leaving, but we practically gave him away and bought 3 other MF's for £40 mill and prob 3 times his wages. Madness
