Re: The excellent Javi Garcia ?

Ill repeat what has already been said, he's shit. He absolutely is not good enough to be a prem/champs league centre half and he is nothing more than a squad member when it comes to centre midfield.

I'll always try my best to support any player wearing a blue shirt but anyone trying to say Garcia is any good really, really needs to take there blue tinted specs off.

Accident waiting to happen and Lescott must be ten times as puzzled about the situation as I am.

But, as has been said, centre half 2 games, 2 wins... What do I know

I don't understand the criticism sometimes, I don't think it was fair it being his fault for the goal, neither Zabs nor Nasty tracked the run, all he did was miss a header ffs. He filled in alright and did a job in a position he doesn't play in, he did the same at West Ham and did really well.... Get off his back ffs, we won and that's enough.

fine if we dont have ANY defenders to use but why use a shite midfielder in a defender role where he's even shitter??? why not put lescott in or richards?

We play Chelsea in 4 days so maybe he was saving them? Don't fancy Garcia against Eto'o to be honest.

Lol
Because Garcia is better than they are in central defence. It's important to be able to play the ball out of defence which is why I think Garcia plays ahead of Micah

Half of you made your mind up he was rubbish last season, and despite all evidence to the contrary you wont change your minds. We had this before with Stephen Ireland, and Micah Richards

I was genuinely laughing at that post, I know very well why Garcia is playing ahead of Lescott

Re: The excellent Javi Garcia ?

He is a weak link at CB but nothing we can do really is there?

Richards is not a great CB and I wouldn't trust him there and boyota wasn't good enough to get in championship sides.

I really don't want him playing against Chelsea though.

Over reaction as per, he missed a header for the goal, it happens, but Nasty and Zaba were ball watching and playing the scorer on side, which was far worse imo.

He's obviously no Vinny but nowhere near as bad as some make out

The issue with Bluemoon is if Zaba missed the header and Garcia played everyone on side it'd still be Garcia getting slated.

Re: The excellent Javi Garcia ?

I remember you as a lumbering member of a certain back four in the cheadle area marcus, and i beleive you are well qualified to assess Garcias lack of pace. I agree he's no good, too slow and hesitant, i don't fancy his chances with oscar and Hazard running at him on sunday, luckily at least one of Demechelis or Vinny should be fit...please!

Almost killed the game today several times. Seemed totally unaware of his surroundings, and almost every chance Moscow had, he would have been at fault if the ball went in, or was at fault.

It's beyond me how you can get beat in the air by Honda, but hey, shit happens.

Another ref, would have given the penalty of Musa.

A liability, but that's nothing new.

Cant say anything bad about Zaba on here, i actually think it might be in the CoC.
