Only a fool or a bitter would think Chicerito is no good. Very, very good player in the position he plays in, as proven by his club and country record. Someone said they wouldn't swap him for Tevez, well no, because they are different players completely. A finer goal poacher you will not find, and at the end of the day it's about getting the thing in the back of the net. OP, look at his club and country record and argue against it. I bet you that you can't. Top player and i'd have him in a heartbeat, but then again i'm neither a fool or bitter.

If Chicerito had that record but played for any other team, people would want him and that record here. 'End of'.

You said you 'werent having it that he's good'. How do you get to that conclusion based on his club and country scoring ratio? If he played for us and a rag said he wasn't that good, yet had the exact same club and country ratio, you would simply have to come to the conclusion that that rag was bitter. No different here. His ratio for United and Mexico is nothing short of brilliant.

I'll bet you now he'll get found out for what he is next season - an average forward.

He may well get found out, but you can only base your initial opinion on what has happened to date, and the reality is he has scored shit loads for both club and country. As I said earlier, if he played for anyone other than United you would probably think he was awesome with that record and would want him here to increase it. Your OP just came across like it was soaked in last nights spilt John Smiths.

He doesn't hold the ball up? Correct, but he doesn't have to. That Utd team last season complimented him because he could play off the defenders and use his runs to get in behind and take the tap-ins.

He wasn't effective against Barcelona but who was?
 
Great first season. Kept out a 30.75m player too

If he can continue that into next season then that will be good for him

From what I've seen he's a good player but we'll see how consistent he is next season
