I think it is us. West Ham would prefer to complete it so they can have the money and time to bring replacement on time. They are waiting for us to pay the desired price that is equal to 85m as stated by many resources.

We clearly want Paqueta because we've bid for him and West Ham have confirmed our interest.

To me this signing is irrelevant to palmer. We will need cover for grealish on the left and I believe doku can do that.

No point in signing a raw winger to cover Grealish

if we are looking for cover we need to sign a player that could be first choice on either wing

someone like Coman or Sane would make miles more sense
