Yes it did! Can we please, for the sake of avoiding confusion, get this cleared up? What is this talk about replacing NDJ about?

Don't panic ac, it's a little dig from levets, as he's not a fan of NDJ in the slightest and I usually stick up for him..

Boeteng won't be replacing NDJ (different positions.)

But Boeteng is a midfielder/defender who 'CAN' defend..(not just tackle)... even played CB .

Too many midfielders and it's clear that NDJ is 'fringe'.... ;-)

This kid is pure class. I've watched many Bundesliga games this season and him and Elia are the best on Hamburg by a mile.

according to the text I got (others inc Ox Blue got it too)... it's a done deal as said by Jerome himself....

didn't know he could play midfield as well, versatile player! Last I saw him he was playing RB and was doing a great job of it. I know we'll probably be picking up more players this summer but if next season were to start tomorrow and he is aboard I would probably go

I watch Boateng pretty much every week in the Bundesliga on Sky Germany.He´s a top player imo.Plays alongside Joris Mathejson the Dutch cb and they are a v good cb pairing.Boateng can play cb or rb.two good feet strong in the air and great positional sense imo
