Lets hope this paper are right regarding who we are signing.

Napoli forward Edinson Cavani, Malaga’s Isco, Sevilla’s Jesus Navas, Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fernandinho and Roma defender Marquinhos are Pellegrini’s five big targets, according to the newspaper.

One down 4 to go anybody know anything about this defender.

Marquihnos' s is a young Brazilian defender; a ball playing centre half like Nastasic.
A mainstay for Roma. He reads the game well. When you're looking at the best up and coming central defenders.
You'd look at Varane, Nastasic, Marquihnos, Zouma in no particular order.

Ah I forgot about Zouma.
Think L'Équipe reported last week that he had agreed a five year deal with Anzhi...

Reckon he'd start most games. Sergio'd have to do more work in the David Villa role mind, if we're still on for copying the Barca model.

Rotation: Milner for Navas, Nasri for Silva, Javi for Barry, Jack for Yaya... Reckon the squad's sorted.

Jesús Navas is now a Manchester City player. It is not yet official, but in a matter of hours both teams will confirm the news because the deal has already been sealed, as announced by Radio MARCA Sevilla.

Sevilla has closed the deal for a fee of €20 million to pay immediately plus 5,5 in bonuses, 3,5 of which are fixed and will not depend on titles or achievements.

The player will earn €2.5 million net for each of the five seasons which he will play for the English club.

The cash injection will have a bearing on the future of Álvaro Negredo. His exit was almost a sure thing, but now a flush José María del Nido believes he can retain the Madrid-born striker, who scored 25 league goals and a total of 31 for the season, including his six Copa del Rey strikes.

We would still need someone like Fernandinho or Benat in that midfield .

Re: Jesus Navas

as i said before the good thing with him is that he will not cost much in terms of wages less than Adam johnson :)

Re: Jesus Navas

At least this is better than waiting until the middle of August for the first transfer. Getting things done early... I like it!

Supposedly in top 5 young defenders in the world or there abouts.

Swap Isco for Bernard and that is a stunning window.
Based on what? One youtube video lol

lol that's the problem with some or let say many nowadays just hear a name watch youtube, some papers glorify him then he is needed one :)
