Hardly top 5... More like Top 3: Something like: 1) Nastasic 2) Marquinhos 3) Varane

Very close though, the above is just my opinion.

Wonder if this is done so quickly because all parties want it done before he goes to the confederations cup?

He's got his colours sorted out anyway. This is him today leaving Sevilla's stadium, possibly after signing his City contract. :)

Marquihnos' s is a young Brazilian defender; a ball playing centre half like Nastasic.
A mainstay for Roma. He reads the game well. When you're looking at the best up and coming central defenders.
You'd look at Varane, Nastasic, Marquihnos, Zouma in no particular order.
