Ji Sung Park

I don't think he plays a purely DM role - none of uniteds midfielders do - and he took his goal well.

We know that a lot of their fans are arrogant and the fact that they are doing well without all the so called best players around demonstrates that football is a team game. Look at us against Villa - didn't have our best players on the pitch but won the game.

Ji Sung Park is an example of someone who may not have the best footballing skills but certainly has the right attitude and contributes 100% to the team effort. He's not just included in the starting 11 to appease the asian fan base and I think that he would make our first team if he were at City.

Instead of whom ??
To be honest I think he could play anywhere in midfield - he can defend as well as attack - he can play on either wing or in a central position - in other words he would be competing with all our midfield players.

Eat your hearts out SWP Stevie and Robinho....er sorry ???
And I love 'em all mate but you need more than 11 players to win things - in case you haven't noticed our squad is still wafer thin and you could do a lot worse than Ji Sung Park - The rags don't carry dead wood and the whole team celebrated when he scored tonight showing it's not just baconface who rates him. I think a player like him could be an asset at City.[/quote]

Hang on , which team doesn't celebrate a player scoring ???
A good as a squad player then ?

I've never really understood the term 'squad player'. By that do you mean that you class him on a par with Glauber Berti?

Cos I'd say he's better than that.

Have I missed something? When was South Korea moved to South East Asia?

He's always fitted in to their team when asked to, and usually gives them something different when they need it. His link up play is good and he gives them drive like Scholes used to.
We can only dream of having a squad and a system so good that an average player like Park can slot straight into a team that wins everything.

He's a good player, wouldn't get in our starting 11 and they're probably just saying it to wind you up, which has clearly worked.
Mate - I'm enjoyin it cos I really do think that in order to compete with the big boys we need about 22 players to rotate and be available to choose our starting 11 from - and Ji Sung Park is not a Robinho but then he's not a Berti either. If he was not playing for the Rags he could get into our team.
And on the subject of the Rags - I'm beginning to think that they are never going to lose - it's sickening for fucks sake. Still we'll see if Mourinho lives up to the hype next week but I can't see them stopping the rags at the swamp if the 1st leg was anything to go by.

Is that directed at me?

You must have missed the original post where I said I laughed my cock off. Oh, and it wasn't posted on the other forum specifically for my attention, I'm a lurker there.

I remember your other posts on here though, you're a fucking loon.

Let this thread die chaps. :)

Park is the heartbeat of the RAGS. He was their MOTM away against Barca, had a good final as well, compared to Tranny who did naff all (bar his header, he missed a pen in the semi and the shootout). Baconface picks Park over Cameo (Nani) and Norma from Shameless (Anderson) as well in big games. Basically Tranny is a flat track bully, the Graham Hick of football, most of his goals come when the game is already settled, when comes to the very highest level (CL or Euro finals) he has a shocker... fuck em all anyway... If you wipe the f**king sand out of your eyes and read the whole post you would see that the point I was making was that he is a token gesture to people of an asian persuasion.
