Jihadi John Is Dead

We may have to compromise if we are to achieve a peace with militant Islam, but that doesn't detract from the fact that they are first and foremost criminals and all things being equal should be dealt with as such.
If you seriously think that we'll ever achieve a peace with militant Islam, you're living in cloud cukoo land I'm afraid, moderate Islam yes, but not militant Islam, certainly not this strand.

We might be great at justice in our part of the world but the only ones we'll ever prosecute are the ones caught in this country, and I'll remind you there are plenty of Irish terrorists (on both sides) have have never faced said trial either, so we're not that good at it.

Chris in london
Jihad John had rights?
Bloody hell you are bonkers pal!
The slag is dead, fuck his rights

He needed capturing guys, get every bit of info out of the shithead, who ordered what who is involved etc, this is not the end of this horrific story, too many were involved, every last one of these brainwashed murdering scum need destroying.

He isnt a soldier and we aren't at war with ISIS.

He was a criminal, of course he had rights. Had he returned to the UK to face trial did you think we would have shot him at the border?

The fact that he chose to carry out further crimes in a combat area meant his rights were incapable of being upheld. His own actions render him a legitimate target as an illegal combatant in an area where military action sanctioned by law is taking place. So I will not mourn the fact that his rights cannot, through his own actions, be upheld. But neither will I agree that his crimes, however horrific, deprive him of those very rights that millions died to guarantee.
Ok, if this (no longer), walking abortion had rocked up at Heathrow having decided murder was dangerous to his
own health, we are all very aware that, unfortunately, we would not see the twat burnt at the stake.
The thing is, we don't need to be told how civilised societies must always hold civilised values as paramount.
The general consensus by anyone with a modicum of a sense of fair play, is that the **** has shuffled off this mortal coil,
assisted by our allies, and that attempting to present trial and punishment through conventional means is/was futile.
Rejoice FFS.

There was a time when we thought there could never be a peace in Ireland, either. Our negotiations will be with the Imams, not the knuckle draggers. There might well be a diehard faction as with the IRA but since an outright military victory is impossible (as it was in Ireland) some form of negotiated peace, eventually, is inevitable.

The rest of you, if you commemorated those who gave their lives to defend our freedoms last Sunday, then you might want to think about where it says 'of course, if you are a total **** none of these freedoms apply to you.'

I am rejoicing, FFS, but I would have rejoiced a bit more if we'd somehow caught the twat and put him on trial.

normally I would agree better to bring people to justice, but on ISIL and this ****, nah fuck em. wipe the twats off the planet.
