I never said he didn't, in fact if you had bothered to read it you would see that I said he did.

That doesn't mean he didn't have rights, merely that through his own actions he made it impossible for the law to protect them.

Precisely it Chris - to just become bloodthirsty murdering machines really just lowers us to their level. To adopt a policy of killing rather than trying is adopting their level of legality -look at Guantanamo - that dolt Bush and his puppet masters thought just hoovering everybody they THOUGHT might be a bad guy up and interning them was a good idea. Can't have them in the U.S. as that was definitely illegal so stick them in Cuba - imprisoned without trial. Been a roaring success hasn't it? All Jihadist activity stopped overnight. Nomore U.S. citizens killed and...... oh hang on...... Fact is if we lower ourselves to their standards of justice they have won.

I've got no qualms AT ALL about illegal combatants in a war zone being on the wrong end of a bomb.

But I disagree with those people who say that his rights are somehow forfeit. Nobody's are, no matter what they do.

The Pentagon says it is "reasonably certain" that a US drone strike in Syria has killed the Islamic State militant known as "Jihadi John".

Col Steve Warren said Thursday's attack in Raqqa had hit the intended target, but it would take time to "formally declare that we have had success".

Okay, let's do it this way. What is the point at which a person loses their basic human rights to a fair trial? I am not talking about JJ I am asking generally where you draw the line.
