Jihadi John Is Dead

So I was right, Jezbollah has come out and suggested it would have been better if Jihadi John wasn't killed. The champagne socialist loony is way out of touch from the real world, hence my point about him being weak. Can those who retorted please tell me how diplomacy will defeat ISIS?
Has it ever occurred to you that politicians who actually paid some regard to legality and thought about the long term consequences of their aggressive actions might have kept us out of the bullshit wars, based on phoney evidence and questionable legal justifications, that helped cause the radicalisation of people like this and the awful deaths of good people like Alan Henning?

Are we more secure now because of our military actions in Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan & Syria? I'd say that, because of those, we live in a state which faces ever greater threats to the safety and security of its citizens and which faces waves of refugees and migrants who are fleeing from the consequences of those actions.

Ok love, please suggest how we go about doing that? Surely Corbyn wouldn't want the armed forces (who he refers to as "occupiers") to put boots on the ground in Syria? Shall they just rock up in a snatch land Rover, grab Jihadi John? Yup that sounds easy enough... Oh and what about the loony Human Rights laws that would then protect Jihadi John...?
Don't call me love
One response to one of you WUMS a day is enough for me,love

The biggest mistake the west made was removing Saddam. Idiots think the Middle East shares the Western Culture. It doesn't one bit, I struggled to fathom and understand Middle Eastern culture. The area and the people are from the middle ages, do you think diplomats can easily rock up, sit down at an assembly and offer resolutions? Will that solve rioting on the street? Troubles in Yemen? Nope, like it or not Middle Eastern countries need ruling with an iron fist (and I'm not a fan of dictatorship) or shit loads of money (like the UAE). There's too many tribes and segments of Islam, democracy isn't simple over there.

The fall out from the Iraq war has caused a shit storm. Assad being toppled partly has caused a mess due to different fighting groups. Whilst the Iraq was is partly to blame for this, are the West responsible for the different segments/tribes fighting in Syria?

But going back to my original point, diplomacy doesn't work. I don't know what does, but suggesting that a barbarian shouldn't have been taken down shows how out of touch he is and will struggle to win the next GE.

I'm not sure you realise it but you actually understand the core of the problem.

They simply don't have the same history, culture or political traditions that we do and sending in planes and tanks then telling them they're suddenly democracies just isn't going to work. As bad as Saddam was, he wasn't actually a threat to us and kept a lot of the dangerous elements under control. Most strongmen do this, either by tyranny or divide and rule. That's the political reality unfortunately. So when you take people like Saddam and Gadaffi out, you lose that control and it should have been fairly obvious that some even more unpleasant elements would be unleashed. The utterly simplistic notion that you can suddenly turn a tribal society, which is ruled by a complex web of alliances and consensus, into a modern democracy overnight is completely flawed.

Much of this started when the Russians invaded Afghanistan and the more the West tried to interfere, the less secure we got. The neo-cons in the USA saw everything in black and white with no shades of grey and that just deepened the mess the Russians had started.

There are things you can question Corbyn over but asking legitimate questions about whether we're right to do some of the things we do is not one of them.

Glad he's dead, utter murdering **** shit house! You kill him many times over and it wouldn't bring justice for what he's done!

On ISIS side though, they're probably not arsed he was just a tool to them to spread fear amongst the UK!
They'll go get some other brain dead **** and fill his head with bollocks and shit.

I'll be happy when ISIS is completely wiped off the face of the earth and with them trying to deliberately piss off the Russians I sense that time is edging near!

Like you say, they're half wits. Thinking they'll be rewarded with a load of virgins when they snuff it.
Also,"Jihadi John" will now be a martyr and there will be retaliatory attacks to avenge his death. Its a right mess and i cant see any actual solution to it all, its just going to be a vicious circle of death

The solution is simple

Kill them faster than they can recruit and get their volunteers into the area.

Interesting that some of the relatives of those murdered by Jihadi John are saying the same thing as JC

Maybe foxy would care to call Mr Haines widow out of touch or Alan Henning's brother Reg preferring justice through the courts or even Mr Sotloff's family hoping he would be caught and sent to prison.
