Believe me, my initial reaction to Beglin's comments wasn't a pleasant one BUT are we begging to look like cry arses by reacting to every jibe made at the club?

The stadium was clearly full and Beglin knows that. Surely as a fan base we give off a better impression if we laugh off such digs, its banter. We don't want to turn in to the cry arses on Merseyside..

Don't get me wrong, there are instances when we should stand up to toss commentators such as the instance on 5 Live when that presenter was sneering about our fan base. That lady rang up and put the drink drive tosser who was presenting in her place.

If he wasn't associated to them it COULD have been taken differently,but he has,so that was the only spark needed to light the touch paper.

I think the issue is less about people being arsed, and more about further evidence of the agenda from the media against our clubs and even our fans. It also makes Beglin look like the childish **** he is

Maybe he is or maybe he isn't. One thing I would say about Beglin is this. He co-commentated on some of our games during the Keegan promotion season when we were live on Granada and there was never a hint of bias against us.

Mine's never full in the South Stand as I always stand further back with my mates!
