Personally wasn't offended. It's not like I snapped the Now 26 CD when I heard that Snap were serious as cancer. Beating women is just as shocking as cot death but nobody gave a fuck about those comments. I'm guessing he's a young lad with no kids. Until you've got children of your own and had that feeling when your newborn doesn't appear to be moving and then takes a deep breath, I doubt that you would realise exactly how horrible that initial comment was.
I'd probably have thought the same when I was younger and had no idea how these things affect people.
