Not that I have a place to comment as an expert being white, but the bit abput Africans and Black Americans reminds me whem I worked away at 19 and we had a large group of staff from Kenya, who would be at pains to tell people they were not the same as the staff from the carribean, they would say "we are african, they are not"., I will be homest was the first time really I had heard black people actively saying don't class me as the same as them much lile I would say some yank is europen just because they are white.

Yeah it is fucking cringe the way she sets out with an agenda and won't be budged. Putting words into his mouth and forcing something clearly aimed at a whole other audience through the prism an assumed uk viewer and lenny henry. Think it was well handled imo.
 
Carr is probably writing a routine taking the piss out of it as we speak.

I've not heard what he said yet. However I get his comedic angle.

And Netflix will enjoy the notorious publicity as usual.

Rogan is a comedy Trump. He'll say anything to keep his money rolling in. I take his "views" with the large pinch of salt they deserve.

I used to think he was a ****. Then I heard a couple of podcasts where he came across as an no bullshit bloke who explained how he uses comedy as absurdity.

I watched that feeling sorry for the name-dropping, pseudo-intellectual numpty reporter trying to make a highlight clip!

She is everything wrong with the types of discussions people should be having with such celebrated Africans as Noah. I literally couldn’t believe that was a black woman from (I have no idea) on British TV talking to a black man from South Africa about his show and jokes he tells for his audiences in America!!!

Noah was so polite it was impressive. He talked of context, but all she wanted to do was talk about the word “chocolate.” He tried to explain the monolithic tendencies of many whites towards blacks…to a black woman who was doing EXACTLY THAT TO HIM!

It was a painful watch and, I’m sorry to say, a sad indictment of modern PC Britain and its desire to see outrage everywhere, creating ”stories” where none exist, and to bring SOME vain, money hungry celebrities to heel over past remarks, jokes, or comments that, in today’s ever so hurt society, are deemed newly offensive and clearly an indication of deep seated feelings (and failings) of those who said them in a different time and place! The sad thing is, they usually simply buckle and apologize, lest the checks stop coming in!

The fucking world is going mad, and it’s finding an outlet in different ways in different places. Where we are all going, I don’t know, but I hope I have fucked off out of the way of the fallout when it all happens!

I was kind of meh about Noah until recently, but the more I see of him, the more I like. I don’t always agree with everything he says, but I like his intelligence and his delivery of ideas.

That presenter/interviewer, though, was fucking dire and cringeworthy!
