No brainer, IMO. He will be useful well into his 30s as he is as fit as a fiddle. Plus we will be able to get a fee if we sell him.
Which english player shall we replace him with then? Or shall we just keep buying foreign lads until we cant physically fit them into our squad? Do you think he has the talent to be in the first XI of a champions league winning team? Is he that good? Cos if you take at face value his desire for a regular starting place in the next few years, that's what we'd have to be talking. I like him a lot, but I'm not convinced he is.

Txixi is offering a 3 year contract but Milner wants a 4 year deal and that's what is holding up the deal
