Just can't understand why City so underrate him.

this is entirely down to Platini.
a lot of our players are now on reduced basic's due to ffp. the rest is made up of bonus's that can't be counted when being judged for ffp. one bonus will be appearances so say Silva is on 200k, that gets us in trouble but then he signs a new 70k with add ons, great. jimmy knows he is less likely a starter than the others, if fernado cost 30m he'll be in the team at the expense of jimmy. so the lad stays on 70k. To the outside, it looks that way, however, a great deal of those new payments stem from success on the pitch and trophies won, he's got more chance of catching the ROCHDALE ghoneria strain than winning jack at Liverpool!!!!

Milner put a transfer request in close season last year stating lack of games. City for whatever reason, didn't sell him when they had the chance. (That isn't meant as a criticism of the club.)

In the "bread and butter" of the league Milner has made 10 starts and come on as sub 8 times. So, yes he appears regularly but 13 players have started more games. As far as total minutes played in the league this season he is on 994 minutes which is the equivalent of about 11 games. He is 14th in the list of minutes played in the league.

A good useful player who ideally we would prefer to keep but he is by no means irreplaceable. If he wants to go to play more games and in his favoured position, not to mention more cash, I don't feel any of us can begrudge him that. I think if he was going to stay he would have signed by now so debate at this stage should be who we should replace him with.

i cant believe jimmy would be daft enough to go to a piss poor liverpool, they only have one player of any note and they arent even as good as the rags in fact i think everton have better players
