That's a great observation, and eloquently put. I know exactly what you mean.
Like others have said, he was hiding in plain sight. Easy to see now, but back then he wove such a web of deceit it was hard to get at him, let alone act on it.

Without giving the man credit as such he was certainly an almost perfect manipulator. A machine of a predator.
I honestly believe he is almost impossible to categorise when it comes to his personality disorders. They must have been multiple.

Not really got any links tbf but even in Friends he's doing it a lot if you look. I haven't really watched Friends in years, not now Jennifer Aniston in it is young enough to now be my daughter!

Thought it was reprehensible the way he was bracketed with predatory monsters like Savile for a bit of arse groping. It’s like comparing a shoplifter to an armed robber. Actually felt sorry for him.

I'd agree with that, he was very skilled in manipulation, as all psychopaths tend to be.
Do you think an analyst would have learnt anything from him if he had been caught before his death? If so, what?
Genuine question, as you seem quite knowledgeable on the subject.

The Psychiatrist Anthony Clare interviewed him, and his findings certainly give much cause for concern.
I think what is bizarre about Savile is that most predators try to blend in, whilst he did the exact opposite.
