We don’t really need young and potential for that position, we need someone who can come in and hit the ground running, know the league and cover / play alongside Rodri. Palinha is a player we should be looking at, we can sign potential or develop an academy / youth product into the first team squad once we have the cover sorted which at present we do not.

I’m excited about Perrone for example, but we can’t wait to see if he turns out to be great for us as it stands, the club needs to keep making those kinds of signings but the failure of Kalvin has really set us back.

Why would he come here to play second fiddle to Rodri? He’s so obviously a 6 so unless it’d be a case of pushing Rodri to an 8 (ala when Kovacic plays, not a bad thing) then I can’t see us trying to get him.

Fantastic player, though, and I assume Bayern will have him locked down to go back for him next Summer.

Bobb will be 21 in the Summer. will he then take a clube trained or associated place or will he have to go on the none HG list?

I agree. I think it’s hard to play paulinha alongside Rodri as he’s a bit on the slow side. Both he and Rodri fantastic players but not enough legs. Would love to sign one of the 3 Real Madrid players as they are very mobile as well as being top talent wise.
