FIne you are happy giving them a player we paid £18 million for for nothing and getting fuck all in return.
.

He's going on loan. We're not giving him to them

Not the point though.....the point he is making, which I fully agree with, is why help a 'rival' team close to us in the League strengthen this way? Either they pay for him outright, or send him on loan elsewhere.....Damn sure Everton won't allow a loan deal for Lescott.

YOu dont know that., THe reported fee was £18 million in stage payments. Also there has been no confirmation who is paying the wages...

We could send him on loan to any fucking shit side not a side in the same part of the table which part of that dont you get ?

Ok, you carry on, people are only trying to help as your making yourself sound a little bit silly with your uninformed argument ? Here what I will tell you is that you are quite right, we will be getting Lescott.

As for sending Jo anywhere, yes we could (within reason) but while the two deals are not linked, it would also be stupid to piss everton off while we are negotiating with them on another front. Its simple business practice.

I will step out now as clearly you are stuck on your views (not a critisism, its good to be strong in your beliefs)

EXACTLY. I cant understand why any City fan would be happy to help out a rival side and get nothing in return. There is no positive there is no upside for that.

We have something they want. They have something we want. This is how business works.

I look stupid. Why because I am not Naive and weak and happy for another club to walk all over us. Fuck that.

I fully accept Jo wont play and he should be sold or sent out on loan. But not to a side we want to finish above - unless we are getting something that we want in return.

Well if it's tit for tat like you and Alera suggest, how do you not know that by letting him go on loan, Hughes is using reverse psychology? If we let them have Jo without mentioning Lescott, maybe then they'll sell him at some obsene price, (which doesn't really matter to us). Point is, by what you're suggesting, if we don't deal, they won't deal....again, by your and Alera's reckoning.

Is Jo as important to City as Lescott is to Everton?

whats wrong with him going on loan to someone else even going abroad, seems dumb to give a team who is a direct rival and has a striker shortage a STRIKER. We have a shortage of good defenders but i doubt Everton would loan us one worth say £15m

Exactly. This is a pointless argument anyway. I cant belive our management would be stupid enough to let this go through without having a deal agreed for Lescott.

ONE news report mentions that we're not getting Lescott in return and this thread goes insane... Come on, think about it. I'm more confident than ever we'll get Lescott now...

I agree its just WUMs at the end of the arguing for the sake of its. I believe we will get Lescott and this is all part of the deal.

You're a fucking idiot mate, calling people WUM's just cos they don't agree with you? I definitely don't agree with you and your daft opinion of why Jo shouldn't be allowed to go to Everton, but I didn't call you a WUM and act as though i've dropped my tampons all over the floor.
