Good deal for all.

If he has a good season, you get a better player back.

That will push the lescott cash up though now, which is nice!

We wont be getting a better player back because quite clearly he is unwanted here.

If he scores 20 goals for us, and gets back into the Brazil squad, you will be wnating him back in a shot....or else you would have sold him by now.

You clearly cant afford him, otherwise he would of been sold.

Exactly.

As far as I am concerned this can only be a sweetener for the Lescott deal because you do not loan an £18 million player to the same team 2 seasons running when they have already said they cant afford to buy him! Jo has no future at City so I am pretty sure we would have accepted much less than we paid for him yet we have sent him on loan again? Not a chance, Lescott must be coming!

Its not a mater of that, its a matter of if we need him. He would be a squad player, so spending £10 Million on that is a complete waste.

We will spend £10 Million on a midfielder of winger, as that is what we need more. We dont NEED Jo, he just makes good cover for our top striker.

Moyes has not said we cant afford him, he said we cant afford to pay what you did for him!
