Jo

Looked a different player tonite, there may be hope for the lad yet, if not he's done his chances of a move no harm at all.

Yeah deserves another crack When he came he was not the new managers signing didnt speak the language being young got influenced badly by the other Brazilians Showed good application in pre-season and got a good reception from the crowd this evening Looks like Bobby has worked with him and to be frank has show more than Ade of late

Exactly my thoughts . Jo and Richards have come out of this preseason starting to realise their potentials.
Jo has been lively, good first touch and has scored regularly.
Richards has got more competent/confident with every game.

Jo and SWP have been our 2 best players this pre-season. We have received interest in Jo from several clubs, so it will be interesting to see what Bobby does. But it's clear that Jo has flown past RSC in the pecking order. In an ideal world, we sign Balotelli and keep Jo as 4th choice striker, selling RSC and Caicedo. But having said that, if we don't receive satisfactory offers for RSC and Caicedo, but we get one for Jo, it will be Jo that leaves. I hope he stays as backup, but still think it's likely he'll be packing his bags.

Let's get behind him and see what he can do.

this, if he's happy with rotation and the odd cc/europa games then could turn out as a plus for both parties

looks a more potent threat than adebayor at the moment. A bit of confidence installed in him from the manager has done him the world of good!

1 word - confidence

I still don't think he'll cut it at City, but he'll be a very good palyer for someone somewhere along the line

Could understand the criticism of him when he signed and he did need that spell at Everton to get his feet under the table in the Prem. He does deserve a second chance to prove himself at City due to his efforts in pre-season and not constantly moaning like Robinho! Just remember he's still 22 so he's got a lot of improving to do yet. Give the lad another goI recon
