Jo

jo doesn't deserve the stick he gets

he has a knack of being in the right place at the right time. tonight when balo was through, he could have crossed for a goal

2 occasions the other week with tevez, he could have had 2

how old is the lad? jesus.

I thought he did ok tonight, apart from his dive.

Been a bit unlucky lately. He's made some good runs which should have lead to a tap him/him skying it over bar, but he's not received the ball.

this ^^^^

What was it last night with our front line, in fact it's not only last night. we don't seem to be prepared to lay the ball off for a player in a better position.

Last night Jo took up some excellent positions and if it wasn't for players being greedy he could have easily had a couple of tap ins. this would really help his confidence and get some fans off his back.

I still think there is time for Jo to come good, bobbie seems to have faith in him.

The lad has done Ok every time he has played this season. I don't know why but I actually like him. I can't give any arguement for him but there is just something about him that I like.

Well Carlos and Mario are probably two off the most selfish players in our team — they both have belief in their own ability to score. Which is fair enough.

Jo may dive, Jo may be a bit shit, but he's here and getting games long after other mard arses Elano, Robinho, and Bellamy have gone. So show him some modicum of respect.

For some reason I like Jo. Hasn't complained once about being cast aside, and now is getting his chance. For everyone who is slagging him off, in his to starts this season we have scored 7 Goals. Although h hasn't been on the score sheet himself he must bring something to the team as you don't do that playing with 10 men.

Regulars here might have noticed I have been consistently critical of Jo, saying he's a waste of food and not fit for the bench let alone a starting position.

But I have to say, he *has* improved and you can see that he does have talent hidden in there somewhere. Overall, it wasn't a bad performance by him, and he looked half reasonable against Fulham too, so maybe things are picking up.

In my view, he needs to do 2 things to vastly improve his game, and if he does them, maybe he could start to be a proper talent.

1. Stop getting pushed off the ball like you are a 12 year old girl. And stop falling over all over the place hoping for a free kick. Show some bloody balls for god's sake.

2. Be selfish. Shoot from ridiculous positions. Play like YOU want to score. I know it's a team game and players are usually criticised for being too selfish but Jo is the opposite. He's such a nice lad. He needs to get a bit meaner. Grab the ball when there's a penalty, because *I* am taking it. Show some balls.

Exactly this its the play of his teammates on times that needs questioning, whether its through their selfishness or inability to see a pass

Third time this season I've seen him go down clutching his face when there was zero contact.

He's a diving twat, and makes us look bad.

What's more distressing is that the Manager keeps playing him at all. What on earth does he see in him? RSC in our ranks - a proven Premiership goalscorer who would waltz into most other teams...............and Mancini picks Jo.

He's utterly hopeless - and a big girls blouse too.

-- Thu Dec 02, 2010 10:13 am --

I think I speak for many in Stoke and further afield when I say he's had no effect on Man City's reputation whatsoever.

He'd be perfect at Arsenal..........

Judging by your username you're clearly a Rag, and therefore unable to talk about anybody's reputation without being a hypocrite.
