a head shakingly stupifying decision by Mancini to include Jo in the starting eleven for this away fixture.

good lord. yes, no Silva and Balo meant he would have to look to the bench. but Jo??? fuck me. maybe he liked the shape of the team with Jo away to Fulham and brought him back for more away magic is the only thing I can come up with.

I know...AJ should've definitely started and we wouldn't have lost 3-0! Oh wait...
Lol!
I tot he had an average game. He tracked back hard. Made that heeky pass to Tevez that could have ot us on had Tevez controlled rather than take a half volley. Totally unimpressed with his strenght though. For someome so tall he can't fence off defenders to save his life, nor does he win any jump balls. FFS cut your legs off if you are not gonna use your height. Should have sold him and kept Benjani :P

the thread is about Jo, not the result. Jo had nothing to do with our result imo. he was barely in the trenches defensively and did nothing going forward.

What the fuck must aj think he's not the best defenenisly but he's better than jo was and a lot better offensively

This.

I could understand if Jo added a huge amount defensively, eg worked the flank like Bellamy but Jo doesnt.

I keep thinking to myself that no mater what I won't single out a player and be negative, but said pre kick off, as long as we don't play Jo we may have a chance.

Anyone who still suggests Jo is of any use at any aspect of football needs to take a serious look at themselves.

People on here have made comments tonight that really beggar belief, like:
"He played better than Barry and Milner"

Well for the record, I concentrated on Jo every time he went near the ball, emphasis on 'went near', saw his misstimed runs, which to be honest were misstimed to perfection, saw him actually get his head to the ball once in probably 8 efforts, saw him 'again' feigning a facial injury, which was absolutely disgracefull and shows us in a very bad light, and he's even diabolical at acting! Saw him moving and almost running on several occasions, but noted he looked like a kid in the playground having the piss taken out of him at 'piggy in the middle', saw him misscontrol and give the ball away numerous times, and win one chanllenge all night, saw him offer Carlos absolutely no support at any point, and other than the challenge he won, when in honesty he fouled Sagna, he did absolutely nothing.

If I was honestly asked to mark his performance out of 10 I couldn't justify a 1.

what some don't realise is that when we have to carry such a worthless ballbag, is that without him we could have had any other player in our whole squad, and other than maybe Adebayor, none could possibly have contibuted anywhere near as little.

I have tried to be frank and honest, and though some will jump to his defense, his display was not unexpected by me, I've seen similar too many times and as far as I'm concerned, whether he's a City player or not his performance was indefensible!

The only possitive for me is that I live in hope that this complete and utter waste of skin and oxygen thief will never again pull on a Manchester City shirt.

I'm no Jo fan - but he worked his bollocks off. 11 tackles attempted and made 2 interceptions in the box. Was constantly disrupting their play. I think he did the job Mancini wanted... and allowed Adam to come on with fresh legs against slower players in the second half.

Top post.

People saying that Jo does a job need to open their eyes. Jo doesnt perform any job that any other player in the squad couldnt perform!

I could go out there and give 110%, doesn't mean I belong.

I always support Jo but he didnt deserve to be out there today.

I'm worried this is really gounna piss off AJ and we'll have another media storm from it...

Get a life, the corner flag won as many balls as Jo tonight!
