that 60m optional fee in hindsight looks a bit of joke we insisted on it in the bayern loan, 35m would have been still reasonable but even with that I doubt Bayern would have triggered it unless tuchel falls in love with him. certainly no way at 60m.

get 20m fee now, cut our losses, albeit this is a big shit, as end of season 21-22 his market rate was so much higher on the back of a good season where he had some top top games becoming this inverted LB, was even maybe player of the month in PL one time, easily 40-50m players. his bit of acting out at the winter over playing time and arguments with pep cost us a lot in potential sale value because it made it clear he has no way of staying and we want to get rid.

strange that Saudis aint after him they got some lot lesser players for serious money so far. i dont think Cancelo is over the hill as much as Fabinho for example and around the same age.

Loaning him to Bayern was a great idea. The player here has fucked up his own valuation because of his reputation, fallouts with top managers at two separate clubs in the same season and already known for playing across multiple leagues having a poor attitude record, they can continue to rate a players quality but not at the cost of a net negative for any top team.

The lad had same goal contributions as Alphonso Davies for them in half the minutes. He'd be their best fullback. Like he couldn't do any more to secure a move. Plus this is the team that thought they knew better than Pep so he let them pick their side. It's full of wankers, he'd fit the profile.

Kev is a bit of an arrogant shithead(shouting at pep to shut up, claims there no players he ever looked up to) and he's probably about to be our captain, there's a place for them if they can back it up.

Personally I think it is another "very favourable" deal for Barca.
I suspect Cancelo has mental issues, probably haunted by his mum's death in the tragic car accident. He mentions her in most social media posts.

He was well out of order with his reaction after not getting played regularly enough, Pep doesn't easily forgive, but I hope Cancelo can find peace wherever he goes...
