We now have Doku who can play on either side that side so can use a more defensive RB or LB.

Interesting to see what develops transfer wise we do need to prepare for Walker leaving. Been linked with lots of fullbacks. Would love more traditional left back.

He has already started to show his true character at Barca after a great start, the wheels will be coming off in the new year and he will be send back to us at the end of his loan.

We have enough attacking players further up the pitch. We don’t need someone who’s a liability in defence

No hes not. He is the club captain, a sick note and isn't leaving.

I don't think it's impossible that he'd be up for leaving a mid table club with no European football to join us. Also think it's quite likely that they will be in a pretty precarious financial situation next summer and selling academy products is the most effective way of balancing the books. His injury record would concern me though.
