He might not? Jeez, I hadn't considered that he might not, as long as he might not I guess there's nothing to worry about!

If your looking for a keeper who will never make a mistake then you will be looking your whole miserable life. The best you hope for is they keep the errors down. Hart got dropped, has been working hard, had a good game and deserves a recall.

Hart got dropped for making poor decisions, he made another poor decision tonight, I fail to see any improvement in this area. Yes he made some good saves, but as I've said repeatedly, this has never really been a cause for concern.

Pantillimon shouldve done better vs Sunderland. Didn't impress me vs CSKA either.

We got a game against Tottenham coming up, I would recall Hart because Pantillimon is a massive risk.

His shot-stopping ability hasn't been the main issue, his decision making has, and he's shown again tonight that it's still not right, coming out and getting nowhere near the ball when he clattered Smalling.
At least he clattered smalling, surely that can't be a bad thing, how on earth does that fella get to play international football ?

Do you think Hart is a better all round keeper than Pants ?

Joe was quality tonight as expected. Yes the rush of the line bit is an issue but it's also true that on both the last occasions he has done it he would have cleared the ball but for the poor centre half not getting in the way.

Neither Nasty nor Smalling did anything wrong in those particular instances, but Hart's decided he needs to deal with the situation both times when he should have stayed at home.

I give up now, I genuinely hope you're all right and we have nothing to worry about but I fear sooner or later we'll concede another goal because he comes off his line unnecessarily, costing us more points.

Ok answer me this. Do you accept the possibility that Hart's "poor decision making" is not entirely his fault? Our defence has been anything but settled and they haven't exactly played well either. He's had Garcia in front of him ffs. Like tonight Smalling was a liability so Hart had no trust in him and didn't think he could handle that ball so shouted for the ball and came for it and Smalling ignored him hence the collision.

When Hart has a settled defence who he trusts and knows exactly what they will do during the game then he will know when to come for the ball and when to stay on his line. A settled defence is very important for a keeper and when it keeps getting switched it causes confusion. This isn't to say Joe hasnt been at fault for some goals because he has but your being very unfair on him after he just spared England's blushes once again.

In general yes, for what we need I don't know as I've not seen enough of Pants.

I think Hart's a better shot-stopper than Valdes but would have Valdes over him right now, because he's better at what we currently need, that being someone who can sweep behind a high defence and effectively become an 11th outfield player when necessary.

In terms of Sunday, I'd play Pants, because I'm less concerned he'd make a points costing error. If Hart was playing I think there'd be more chance he'd make a points winning save, but also more chance of him cocking up.

So you have no fears that he might come rushing out of his goal on Sunday and risk costing us a goal?

And he might not

Just like nobody thought he might I guess ?

He might or he might not, great insight.....
