Joe Hart (continued)

Re: joe hart

he will start against germany and hopefully that will start his run back to the team

Re: joe hart

I can understand why people don't like garcia but to write off joe is very premature.

He has been one of the best keepers around for a few years and is still only 25ish. With the added bomus he is English ( quota).

He has had no real competition for two years so its understandable that it may have got to him - being dropped may just re focus his attention and get him back to where he was and is cwell capable of getting back to being one of the best.

How many people have watched someone like Cabellero regular enough to know he does not make mistakes. Even keepers like Cech make mistakes and i bet we didn't see him as regular at 25

Re: joe hart

Costel against Spurs
Hart against Plzen

Bring Hart back in a relatively low pressure game. And show some faith in Costel as we will need him if Hart's comeback doesn't go to plan.

Cech was first choice from the moment he signed at Chelsea in 2004. He was 22.

Sensible idea. The Press Gang won't be able to slag Joe off in a game that is now little more than a practice match, and he can get to grips with his back four again which should be the strongest selection available for this whole purpose. As an aside, I would also select the weakest midfield and attack force for this game just to save our big-hitters for the EPL, and I think it would also be a good idea to blood one or two EDS lads in there as well, but I'm going off topic so I'll leave the suggestion to float until the Plzen game approaches.

It's time to get our best English player (and goalie) back in our team. Listen to Peter Smeichal - typical of this country AND our fans, we put our players on a pedestal and then proceed to knock them down.

He needs to be playing for us

Agree.
I do believe Joe was more taken out of the firing line rather than being dropped, he has become the new whipping boy for the press.

Re: joe hart

Why is this still being discussed? Hart has lost his place and until Pantilimon fucks up on a regular basis then he should continue to sit on the bench.

This discussion would not be happening if Hart was anything but English.
