Great on crosses and his distribution was superb. It helps when you're spraying the ball around to the likes of Spanish Dave, who can stop a 60 yard punt on a dime, but still. Well don't Joe, and well don management to getting him back to his best.

You know when he comes for a cross and he punches it and us fans all shout "catch it!"?
Must annoy the fuck out of him as Goalkeepers are trained to punch the ball in a lot of situations these days. It's to take away the possibility of him fumbling it and it landing at an opponents feet with the keeper stranded.

Sounds weird with how little he had to do but I thought he was outstanding last night. Dealt with their 4000 crosses magnificently and commanded his area in a way we don't always see from him. MP has played an absolute blinder with Hart and surely now he will be our no.1 again next season.
