Surely, whilst not impossible, is highly unlikely as what your saying effectively is that he thinks Willy is the better "traditional" keeper. Maybe he does, who knows
Maybe Pep based his decision on Joe's ability as a 'traditional' keeper by watching recordings of games from last season, his performance at the Euros and at the Arsenal friendly.

Always assuming he would agree to go quietly, which I very much doubt,How much could we realistically expect to get for Joe, with other clubs knowing we quickly want rid?

Since when have we ever made ton of cash on anyone? We are fucking useless at this. Prob end up going on loan with us paying 80% of his wages.

I'd rather he stay, get his head down, learn what's required and just get on with it.

The ones good thing as illustrated by the fact Nasri was publicly shamed for being too fat and Hart dropped is that this manager is not going to take any shit off them, unlike the last one. If they didn't know it before, they will now.

Great post. Thank fuck we've got manager in charge again. The players will either have to shape up or ship out, either way is fine by me.

I agree with both of these but very much gutted for him.

We have to trust our manager.

Agree with Tolmie's Hairdoo - Hart is finished here.

He's not going to start once we sign a sweeper.

For his own best interest I hope he leaves City - he's a great shot stopper and is loyal to his side - I love Hart and wish him the best.

But he's also the England #1.

For Joe's own sake he should leave City and join a top club where he's the #1 keeper - at City, he has zero chance of starting any meaningful game once we sign a sweeper. If he's not #1 at a top club he puts his England #1 at serious risk.

Career suicide to remain at City.

If he does leave, I hope more than anything that it is amicable. I love Hart. Plays with passion and is a true blue. He's always the first over and he is a leader. Pep needs to understand he has our full backing but there is going to be increasing pressure on him If he sells Hart.
Increasing pressure from who, the fans?

Some people are getting a bit soppy on here...

Joe is a good goalie but that as far as it goes, he make the odd good save and a few blunders..

If the manager thinks a new goalie will improve the team, then we have to trust his decision..

I for one was getting a bit tired of the " come on " shouts from him in the tunnel, all seemed a bit false to me..

i dont really see a problem with that, shouting encorougment to his team mates before a game.

The first sentence sums up Hart

The second sentence is why sentimental City fans think he is "world class"

It's not a coincidence that 3 managers in a row have sought to replace him. It's only his homegrown status and his fake passion that has kept him here

really ? golden gloves, team of the year, great saves, but yea he's shit. correct me if I'm wrong, but i think you've been a long standing hart critic on here regardless ?
