I think Joe's a good professional and would accept the challenge of another top keeper. It's just bizarre that Caballero is ahead of him in the current pecking order. Regardless of style, attitude there is just no justifying that imo.

Well he is a professional player and would want to play every game. I know what you mean..as being professional normally means to take it on the chin, get your head down an all that. But he knows he doesnt have time now.

So if Joes style is wrong and his attitude is bad there's still no justifying him being dropped?
That sounds like exactly the kind of justification normally used in cases like this.

Why is it not a possibility? Pep can bring in Bravo instead of Caballero (who is no better than Hart) and give competition to Hart. Meanwhile, Hart can try to adapt to Pep's system and see how he fares in a season's time and then take a decision on him. Isn't that better for all ?

Watching the Pep documentary on Sky last week, one of the main points I took from that was sometimes the most important change to a squad is not necessarily who you bring in, but who you ship out. This is what we are witnessing. Joe comes across as a good bloke but none of us really know him, or more importantly what he's like around the squad. Pep obviously sees something he doesn't like, and is dealing with it. That's what your manager should do.
It's also interesting that Everton seem to be the only realistic club for him in this country (although if I was anything to do with Liverpool I'd be tempted, surely he's better than their fella) I mean all the clubs around us seemingly having a better option in goal than we currently do.

For me it boils down to this. He's very good but hes not top drawer. I want top drawer in every position. He's done us proud and been part of some great memories, but it looks like it's time to move on. I wish him all the best.

I did not see Hart adapting to Peps system against Arsenal.

Thing is Hart is a very good goal keeper who wouldn't want to sit on the bench. He had a poor Euros and wouldn't to put his English no. 1 in danger by being 2nd choice. It's pretty understandable.

If we were not getting Bravo, I would understand that let Joe be in the bench , till he is able to adapt to Pep. But clearly Pep doesn't want wait too long. If he sits on the bench, his place for the country is gone too.

Not being funny or anything but so fucking what. He's paid by his club, not his country and his country are a bunch of cunts that just stitched up his mate in the summer.
