I really think hart has done alright for us, but he has faults that cannot be denied, Pep has said if a players tries to and gives it their all then he will give them time, I gather or must presume Hart isn't doing this or maybe just cannot because he ain't just technically good enough I don't think Pep is doing this because he want to make an example of him.

On the Joe being disruptive in the back ground I do remember Platt after being sacked said, hart was one of the the main ones sticking it to Bobby and he was going to get rid of him for begovic, because he didn't think Joe was good enough.

Anyway he ain't no Zab where I would be gutted if he went, I will trust our manager knows whats best in this instance, after all we are hadly like to be replacing a goal keeper of long standing with an Eike Immel nowadays

I think pep doesn't fancy him which is fair enough,i can't really argue against that,i'm upset for joe as he loves this club,being forced out is not nice for anyone,but we move on
 
If Hart leaves, the senior CL squad is going to be even thinner.

I assume keepers are told by Guardiola that the first rule is "don't concede", the second is "do it my way". Maybe he just doesn't think he's quite right for the season yet. There doesn't appear to have been anything concrete from anyone except media troublemaking.

But i also think he's a confident guy who at times may have crossed the extremely blurred line from confidence to arrogance. Personally, it used to annoy me (few years back) when after he'd make a big save he'd come up laughing and smiling instead of yelling at Lescott for passing the ball directly to the other teams striker and allowing the opportunity. With that being said, if he never allowed a goal in his career I think he'd probably be able to get away with banging Pep's wife and he'd still put him in the starting XI. Honestly have no idea, just my best guess given the very little information we know about the situation.

I really think Bravo is a top 5-7 GK in the world (although i didn't realize how old he is) so i'm excited and surprised that he'll be in goal this year but it is sad to see Joe go. The CityTV YouTube channel will certainly not be as funny.

Yeah I think it might be as Cheeseman said there's two things going against him one side is the distribution and footwork to his game and the other is Pep's come in and noticed the player power issue on top of it, then he throws a wobbler when he made the team selection and Pep's thought that's it then it's not going to work as much as he liked at the club(even the Chairman would have put a little resistance up I think on this one but probably saw what he was saying) there's too many problems here. If it were just the playing out from the back issue I'm sure he'd still be at the club and Pep would get him trained up(it's how he is, if players are willing to give their all) but it seems Joe hasn't helped himself at all since he's been back.

IF what's been said is true I can understand where Pep's coming from but I'm still gutted for him though I've always liked Hart, he does genuinely love the club and it will hurt him being moved on I can see that.

I don't think a lot of the insults or putting down of Hart is necessary. Nor is the "I cant believe people are shitting on a legend" comebacks. This has nothing to do with that. Truth is Willy is a good keeper and has always been. So is Joe Hart. Pep feels much more comfortable going with the one he believes works better for his vision. No malice, just practical. I like Joe. He is a fine lad and a competitot. ANd losing his spot is bound to hurt, so no surprise there. Hope it all works out.

The answers to your questions,I'm 45,a season ticket holder for years,so I know a bit about football,I've always thought his distribution was shocking,but no different to any other keeper in the Prem,whose under pressure from a pressing forward closing them down,I think all have that flaw in their games.

The "soft" goals as they are described do appear to be down his left hand side,again,most notably again in the summer,playing for those useless bastards.

Is he better than the 2 Barca keepers ? I dunno,is he ? I'm only interested in the guy who plays in goal for us,so I don't follow the progress of the Barca keepers,as my knowledge in watching Spanish games,them and Madrid have very little to do most weekends anyway,and 1 only plays in Champs League games...strange decision to say the least

As much as it pains me to say it,he is probably not as good as De Gea,but he'd get in the other 3 sides I'd have thought yea,but again that is just my opinion.

If we had signed a keeper before the season started,I'd have raised an eyebrow,but we didn't so I fully expected him to start on Saturday,but he didn't,so this is now because Pep think's he's a troublemaker ?....I don't buy into that neither,and we got away with it on Saturday,just,as Sunderland were crap,but had one chance and scored.

When do we expect to see 1 of Bravo or Ter Stegen then in your opinion ?

I meant personal as in 'what's going on behind the scenes', I want to just concentrate on pure capabilities, nothing more, as in essence it's all he should be judged on, the other stuff will look after itself...

I'm not proclaiming to be some football Nostradamus or the next Rinus Michels, however, I've watched all manner of football for 30 years, since sliding under the turnstiles as a nipper, to buzzing my tits off when channel 4 secured Italian football (goalazooooooooo) where i could watch my heros weekly....

I've seen enough football to be able to compare and contrast styles and knew from day dot that hart would not meet the criteria, it's as clear as his receding hairline..

I asked your opinion on those players and you gave an honest answer, however, what sets them apart is they are proven in more than this league, but also how comfortable they are on the ball... Joe has consistently displayed panic stations in high intensity games, that is going to be 10 fold in our new set up as we will invite the opposition on, in my opinion, it's not even worth the risk with a guy who has had clear instructions previously, yet chosen to ignore those instructions...

I get the loyalty towards the man, he's just not my cup of tea, just like many on here can't stand yaya, I happen to think he's probably our greatest ever player, again opinion.

We may not even get a new keeper, who says that we manage to complete that before the 31st? However, a team with either bravo or Stegen, would be like night and day with hart in goal, in terms of productivity!!!
 
I spent all summer saying if the defenders were ready then Joe could learn to play out from the back. After Saturdays game I realised how wrong I was. The keeper is the foundation Peps whole philosophy is built on and the foundation needs to be solid for rest of the team to learn the system. We need a keeper who instinctively knows what is required so it happens quickly.
Joe may or may not be able to adapt, but he can't be learning in our first team.
I just wonder if Bravo comes in, Joe could go on loan for a year, maybe Seville to learn, then come back to replace Willy and try to show he has adapted competing with Bravo who'll be 35 by then.
 
Hart is not city through and through like some seem to be stating, I don't remember any quotes / interviews where he came across as REALLY loving the club

Compare this to Zabba or Kompany, true blue legends who you can tell would and have bled for the shirt

I guess he's taken his lead from his big mate rug head, make out you love the club and its fans when really they are just their to stoke your massive ego and wage packet

He has too many faults to be our number one going forward, thanks Joe you'll go down in history for your part in the resurgence of this great club, but you will never be seen as a great I'm afraid
