I do hope we are the exception to Pep's 3 season pattern, more than three years obviously before tempting fate haha.

they asked him on one of his welcome interviews if he was planning on staying more than 3 years. his responsive made it seem highly unlikely. things could always change of course

One of the 'signing foreign players making our national team worse' brigade.

I wasn't, the guy who said it may have been but I actually don't think so. Apparently Stones will rot on the bench along with all the other young players whilst we buy 500 overrated foreigners (no signs of xenophobia or anything!).

I don't comment on other teams if I haven't seen them enough or know how their team operates. But every other prick out there seems to feel qualified enough to pass comment on City's business.

Again, nobody has a clue about Pep, not a Scooby, he is so different to anything that has gone before that people just reckon he must do his training drills a bit differently and has different man-management or something. Nobody can comprehend that he's not just a big name to make the oppo scared, to argue with Mourinho in the tabloids. he's a complete re-inventor of the game with a master plan that counters traditional tactics and formations to devastating effect. I think people presume some supremo is sent out to gather 'young talent' and galacticos and toss them at his feet to make sense of. Nobody appreciates he has ideas and a list of players who would work for each position.

Let's not fight amongst ourselves here, because out in the 'balancing your beer on your fourth stomach' world of pub punditry, there are far bigger c***s with a greater ability to repeat the tabloid trash mixed with a healthy dose of their brother's mate's Dad's insider knowledge.

I can assure you Im not. As a previous poster said, Raheem is clearly in Pep's plans. That's all my fellow blue.

Bravo just saved a PK against Sevilla for anyone who was wondering. i'm telling you all, Bravo guy is amazing. ive seen him play for barca and in the last 2 Copa Americas (one of which he was the player of the tournament). He's better than Joe in my opinion.

Putting allegedly after what could be libel, does not make you safe from a civil action, in law you are just repeating the original libel, and therefore can be deemed libellous. Just trying to help :-)

Sorry, I meant the guy who said it originally was. That's all the BBC comments section has become: how England will never amount to anything because of all the foreigners and how they're not actually going to watch PL football anyway because they're all a bunch of overpaid mercenaries etc. Etc.

I know even the most scathing of Raheem's critics on here do want him to do well if he has it in him. Which, for the more positive of us, we are starting to see already.

Oh, to combine the two topics, there was a clown the other day on BBC who said that Raheem diving like he did for the Pen against Sunderland doesn't set a good example to kids. You honestly could not make this shit up!

How do you know he isn't being given a chance to prove himself ? He is training with first team squad so if he is performing well in all aspects no reason he will not be picked . Joe knew months ago Pep was coming and what he would expect so what has he done to make sure he was ready to excel at all the thinks Pep expects from a keeper .
But equally how do we know he is? I find it hard to believe that he is the only first teamer who isn't performing well in training.
