I think he was being ironic. That's got to be the biggest load of bollocks about Sterling going in January.

I do hope we are the exception to Pep's 3 season pattern, more than three years obviously before tempting fate haha.
But that doesn't count 'cos they have been at the club since they were in their nappies. You'd have to think we might be, given the age profile of the players we have bought so far. Many of them will be coming into their prime in three years. I wonder if the team that has 'the oldest squad in the league' will be mentioned as often this season, as it was last?
That shouldn't be too tricky after he's been here 10 years, and we paid next to nothing for him.It is a shame, but if we can make a profit on Joe rather than having him sit on the bench purely out of sentiment then I know which one I'm for
That was Moyes' fault that surely. ;)Even if we aren't, Pep is still building for the future and will leave us in a great position. Unlike that **** over at the swamp who is building for now and fuck whoever comes after me.

I think we'd tie him down for life if we could. Unfortunately it won't be about us offering him an extension, it will be more about whether he wants to stay beyond his 3 years. I hope to God you're right though.i think he'l be here for many years to come, a short contract at the start just incase he hate's life in Manchester or finds out the promises from our owners means nothing, he'l be given an extension after next season

Sorry, but anyone suggesting that Sterling is not part of Pep's plan, clearly doesn't understand Pep's plan, as I'm pretty sure Pep was behind us buying Sterling last summer, and while he wasn't at his best last year, Pep's comments about him at the moment suggest he's very much part of the plan. So anyone suggesting otherwise is an idiot.I wasn't, the guy who said it may have been but I actually don't think so.
