Pep has a way of playing and if Joe and other members of the team don't like it or can't do the job Pep has asked them to do, as far as I am concerned they can leave. After all no player is bigger than the club.

I'm hoping he stays and proves to pep he can do it and be our number one. some good words from pep

this was interesting "Hart hasn't been picked so far because Caballero was 3 weeks ahead of him in preseason - Hart is talented,if he stays and fights great"

"If Hart wants to leave I won't stop him, but he can learn and improve under me"
I'm with you mate.
I have defended Joe's worth on here, I can only hope now he takes the challenge, learns from Bravo and makes the cup games his, performs well enough to give Pep a headache over it all.
I honestly believe he could be immortalised as not only a city great but England too if he fought his way back in and proved he's capable of adapting.

He either can't or won't.
His distribution is poor regardless of the style of play.
He doesn't appear to have developed in recent years.

This is true

It is a shame what is happening. Joe has been a good servant to the club and (rightly) is a hero to many fans. I don't think that the recent England performances have helped either his confidence or his style of play. Kicking the ball long, it just goes out for a throw in to the opponents or it is way beyond the forwards. It's a free ball back to the other side.

The BBC are displaying their anti-City bias again. The headline is "Hart can leave" - what Pep is actually saying is play the way I want and it's fine; stay and fight for your place is okay but if you don't want to stay then you are free to leave - slightly different emphasis.

This is the end of it all for me, Pep's made it pretty clear where the land lies. Stay and fight for your place, or you can request to go. Not being forced out, no issue of his face not fitting.

For me, I want Joe to stay and fight, but if he's not willing to knuckle down and would rather walk into another, lesser, team, it says all we need to know. Unfortunately.

If he loves the club as much as some people say then the obvious choice would be to stay and at least try and improve, if he leaves then his ego or lack of confidence in his own ability will be the obvious reasons for doing so

Time to get practicing then Joe.

Let's see if he gets/takes his chance on weds...

But, we must get someone better than Willy in the meantime as IMO he's just not good enough in the long term.
