he will be the greatest goalie this club has ever had

what a load of bollocks

frank swift was agruably the greatest goalie ever if you think hart is going to match that give your head a good long shake FFS

ps you might do well to find a few things out about the clubs history before talking up average players

you do the great players in Citys history a diservice

Do you think that Silva can never be as good as Bell?

they are different tpes of midfielder but that aside Colin Bell may have been Citys best midfielder but he is not the best midfielder ever so not quite the same BUT YES SILVA MAY BECOME AS GOOD AS KING COLIN

joe hart will never be even spoke about in the same breath as the great goalkeepers

swift is widely recognised as perehaps the greatest keeper ever not just ours but anyones

Not having a go, but what do you mean 'again'? He also made a fingertip save on a shot across the box that would surely have gone in.

Hasn't done much wrong this year that I've seen.

Its this type, very difficult to deal with, but to put it wide/ out instead of in play

How strange.

Sorry pal but could I borrow your time machine please because clearly you can for see potentially 18 years of Hart playing for us and see for sure that he wont match Frank Swift.

oh, whats that, you cant tell the future. So then you have no idea if he will go onto to be our greatest ever keeper.

Really annoys me when people just dismiss out of hand players whose potential is yet to be fulfilled.

even If Hart has anywhwere near that much potential which I doubt he has already proved he lacks the total committment to forfil it

likes a drink too much for one but hey thats my opinion and heard all these
arguments about how good nicky weaver was going to be

Now that absolutely is bollocks. Which is funny as you called someone else out for similar.

Re: Joe Hart

@WHP blue, no one that "likes a drink too much" can sustain a figure like this:

If you knew anything about training and diet, you'd know that.

You know him personally do you then? Know he goes out on the piss a lot or are you just getting that info from the very rare threads where someone met him on a night out. Don't comment on his commitment or personal life unless you know for 100% certain.

On today's fumble I think Hart's problem recently is he believes he can do too much with a shot. He thinks he can hold onto a ball which needs to be parried behind. But I think this will improve as he gets more experienced and learns which shots can be held and which need to be parried. Not the end of the world and doesn't make him a crap keeper.

last time Hart won us a game?

Last time any defensive minded player won us a game?...it's a little hard to manage that accolade mate when we score shedloads on a weekly basis....however he has certainly made a few key saves at 0-0 in games we went on to win easily.

Re: Joe Hart

Always back Hart and trust him with my own cock but was at fault today. He is allowed to make mistakes
I wish he would stop parrying it back into the area. he wasnt doing it last season so whats changed now
