He was at fault in Munich for his parry on the first shot of the first goal and again last night. villa away last year the pea roller shot he parried straight to Bent.
If he cuts this out of his game he will be the best around. Tip it round the post Joe FFS!

The majority of goals scored on us this season have been tap ins that he had already saved. His defense isn't following up and clearing. In fact, I'd like to see that exact stat. I don't think many have been scored against us from a straight shot on goal.

Joe Hart is the best keeper in the Premiership.

He's clearly the best at the club and one of the best in the league and he's only a kid so he should improve.
Let's just hope it's a little blip because if he's still parrying shots back out into the 6 yard box in 6 months time, it'll be time to start looking elsewhere for a custodian
Can't recall how hard it was hit, but he probably was slightly at fault.
But why was Cani alone? I suspect Zab played a part too.
To talk about replacements because he parries the occasional shot is a bit excessive though.
He parries about 30-40% of his shots. Bayern twice, today once and he was nutmegged against Napoli. Joe is a top lad. But he has a lot to learn against the top competition.

you mean that world class double save, where the defence didn't react twice?
have you ever played in goals in a competitive match? i have for a few years and maybe he could have done more last night but it certainly wasn't his fault.
and it's laughable you're blaming him for any of the munich goals, he pulled off great save before every goal bayern scored.

The Munich second goal Joe was at fault. Simple he got his hand to the ball beside his goal post he should of been turning that around the post for a corner. Last night it was trio of mistakes. Silvas slack ball to De Jong who lost the tackle. Joes parry again should of been pushed around the post. You know by the look on his face that he messed up big time and that he should of done a hell of a lot better than what he did do. Joe has to take some of the blame along with the other 2 lads. The saving grace was we won the game but he needs to work on his shot stopping a bit more and knowing when to push the ball out for a corner.
