A mistake is a mistake. Willy has shown nothing in the pre season or the CS to show he is anywhere near an improvement on Hart. And we can't keep dropping keepers after they make one single mistake. Hart kept us in the Liverpool game against a title rival and then today he made a mistake. He should continue to be number 1 and if he keeps making silly errors then drop him for Willy but not on the back of just one mistake.

Similar shot that Sanchez turned to goal against Fenerbahce. Looks so easy to defend but it won't happen when keepers are learned to defend only with hands. De Gea keeps both of these with his legs easily, he's single keeper I've seen at top level (I know, I know :P ) that doesn't hesitate to use legs on such shots. You can't defend low balls close to your legs with hands, until you fail down it's in the goal already.

Clubs should hire handball keepers coaches to learn football ones to use their legs too in their keeping.

Fair points. These errors in Hart's game is becoming more usual as the seasons go on... seems like he is going backwards.

1 shot, 1 goal. It's too often the case with Joe Hart whereas a few years ago he could make 3-4 wonder saves per game.

I have been saying since summer that Willy has been a better keeper than Joe over the last 2 years. Joe will always get preferential treatment because he's English and also Willy's baptism of fire against Arsenal didn't help, but IMO he is a better goalkeeper based solely on the evidence of the past 2 years. He also doesn't need so much time to distribute that the entire opposition is back in two organised lines.

It's not just one lousy goal though is it?
Point taken entirely about his contribution and cutting him some slack, but unfortunately he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.
