Joe Hart or Willy Caballero

No prescence from Willy, he can do a job but for me Joe has to start and we cannot undermine him. Personally don't understand why we signed Willy given we had constraints on our spending and the need for homegrown players for the squad but let's hope Joe has a great season again and Willy contributes along the way.
 
We cant be swapping these keepers around. Pellers needs to make a decision on who his number one is.

Its not about him telling us though, its about him picking him. GK for me is the one position you need continuity.
 
Hart's still the number one but Pellegrini's made the point that Caballero is more than just a domestic cup keeper. That should keep Hart on his toes.
 
Pellers said Hart has played eight games in 32 days and he thinks that's a lot for a goalkeeper, and it was nice for Willy to get two games and not just one. Is eight games in 32 days a lot for a keeper ? Bearing in mind he's hardly been overworked in some of those games, I'm sure Hart would've been fine to play but I guess if he was going to accommodate Willy at any point then maybe these two games were the right time presuming Hart is back in for Tuesday, which he clearly should be imo.

Like I've said previously I do hope this rotation of the keepers doesn't continue throughout the season, it's a position where continuity is important and an in-form Hart you'd want in between the sticks for every game possible.
 
With Hart I think its more a mental thing.

By keeping him on his toes with Willy breathing down his neck it makes him focus more in the games that he does play. We're in a great position having two top goalies and we should celebrate that fact and not worry too much on rotation. I'm sure that the way Pellers is handling the situation he's getting the best out of Joe.

Many other clubs would love to be in our position where we have two quality players for every position.
