Hope he doesn't bad mouth city once he leaves, but other than that I wish him every success.

Burnley is a very good choice too, not only a chance at the first team due to injuries but also two rival England keepers to compete with, if he regularly starts ahead of both of them then he may reestablish himself at national level too.
Doubt it, his comments on going to Italy although not actually leaving at that time but he must have known his number was up were 'proper blue'.

Has he gone yet?
Thanks for the great memories but once the world found out his weakness (which many of us blues were pointing out well before he left) his days were always numbered. Farewell and keep practicing strong hands low down to your left...(and dont parry back to oncoming strikers... )

Funny one the low down left weakness as his best saves were normally top left

I would like too wish Joe all the best, he had his limitations but was superb for us. The Dortmund games was probably his best but there were so many others

Good luck Joe - a week ago today in Miami I got to say to him ''thanks for everything you did for us'' and he replied ''what did you think of Morrissey's last album?''
Never realised how tall he is! And I'm 5 ft 10

Deserves the pay of with what he has contributed for us. So a year a year left on 120k week that around 5m left on his year I’d expect we payed up half of that to him.
So Burnley pay us £4m and we pay most of all of that to Hart. Effectively he’s got a hefty signing on fee (which is what he wanted) and we can presumably show a profit on his sale.

Highest paid Burnley players around 30/40k per week...

Even with taking a cut cant see Hart going there for 50k or less.

Worst thing for him would be now if he couldnt even hold the first team goalkeeper role at Burnley. For Burnley too as that would mean highest paid Burnley player is a GK sub on bench.

He still had a contract with us and 10yrs + service,we were always going to make it as painless an ending as possible like we have done with all the rest and will with our other long timers, the club value loyalty
