Jan Tomaszewski was their goalkeeper, and your right he played a blinder, we hit the woodwork too many times to recall, and I believe the sub Hector even had a shot cleared off the line in the last minute. That game was the end of Sir Alf.

England were spoilt for choice back then, even with the two first choices out we still had a world class keeper to come in and a decent back up. Makes you wonder why we only really have Joe Hart now.
Back then most of the Division 1 keepers were British, unlike now where many are foreigners.
