Bollocks.

No one should say that today's defeat was "all Joe's fault". But he should have done a lot better with the second goal and too often nowadays Hart concedes a goal and I think that he could have done better there.

Anyone who's played football even just at schoolboy level will know that Zab was at fault for both goals (from the corners). Perhaps Joe was flat footed for the first one, but both were Zabs man.

I love the guy, and I'm sure he'll hold his hand up to his team mates and he's still top drawer.

Without Kompany we are all at sea at the back and thats the simple fact of the matter. We just have to get on with it and work hard on the training pitch.

Yeah ,the first one was all Joe's fault, that was the keeper's ball to claim ,plain and simple. The second he was in no man's land, partially his fault as well as Zabs.

I remember Joe Corrigan and the last few years of Bert Trautmann, and in each case a high ball into the box was the 'keepers. None of this waiting around for the nearest defender to take responsibility.

Former Manchester City assistant David Platt has claimed that Joe Hart would no longer be playing for the club had Roberto Mancini not been sacked as manager.

The England international has come in for more criticism following another mistake in today's 3-2 defeat to Cardiff City.

The Italian publicly criticised Hart on a few occasions during his tenure at the Etihad Stadium, and Platt has revealed that plans to replace him were in the works.

"If Mancini and I were still at Man City this year, Joe Hart wouldn't be there," Platt told Al Jazeera. "We made a decision to sign Asmir Begovic."

If he has any respect for the club and people at it, he should keep his mouth shut about stuff like that. Very unprofessional and gone right back down in my estimation

The joe hart of 18 months ago would have commanded his 6 yard box , and neither the 2nd or 3rd goals would have been scored , and i bet Joe will be the first to hold his hands up in the dressing room after the match , Zabs was also partly to blame , but we know both these players would sweat blood for our club , and they are giving 100% . Joe needs a rest , a few games on the bench will make him more determined to get the basics right , and he will come back a far better player , Pants is an adequate replacement , hes never let us down , and if Hart cant be dropped no matter how many mistakes he makes , what message does that send to the squad players ,

I have got to the point before a match starts where I think Joe is gonna gift the oppos a goal, one way or the other, with or without the help of someone from our back four. It's a full season now when I last thought he was pretty near invincible.

Joe has made a lot of mistakes recently but to be fair to him today he did keep a couple out as well,it could have been worse
I have always defended him but i am starting to waiver

Any decent keepers available we could still sign to push him? Nothing against Pants, i just think he needs some one to keep him on his toes. Both Kasper and Given did that.

Yeah this is starting to become more frequent now.......Joe usually has about 3 things to do in an entire game and one of them is usually picking the ball out of the net. He's not a bad goalkeeper and I think we all know that but his concentration levels are poor.

With all that said you can't always point fingers at the goalkeeper - the defence as a whole has to be questioned. Going forward we're great to watch but it's that attacking mentality which leaves us extremely vulnerable to conceding too. Should be an exciting season with goals at both ends then!

Kasper looks strong physically and mentally, full growth and mature. I definitely want him in

When Joe knew he had Shay breathing down his neck three years ago he was unbelievable, he knows he doesn't have that competition anymore......so we're back to that old one again.....attitude.
It needs to be eradicated from the club. This is how the scum had the title back last season. They had serious competition and rose to it, winning at all costs. We have warriors playing for us mixed in with slackers. It must affect the harmony of the squad :(
Come on Joe I'm backing you to come good sort your head out.

I totally agree with what you say, Kasper and Given did have that affect. But no club should have two reserve goal keepers in order to keep the number 1 on his toes.

If I had my way I dump him to rot on the bench knowing that he will miss Champions League and probably a World Cup (I say probably because he is best out and selection of shite English goalkeepers.) The only way he gets back in is if Pantilimon got injured. Then will see if he's wised up.

Interesting!!!

I am losing a little faith with Hart but I am sure we didn't concede 78 goals in the premiership last season.
